Panacea celebrates nearly 10 years of successful work in the addiction field; and now takes the lead in providing a solution to the challenge of breaking the cycle of addiction with its innovative ‘Detox to Independent Living’ Programme.
This is a” Start to Finish” solution that overcomes financial constraints; and maximises the positive, long-term outcome gains for every client from our in-patient rehabilitation, through treatment and rehabilitation to our AftercarePlus programme leading to independent living.
Our Detox to Independent Living Programme provides rehabilitation where required, followed by 12-weeks of Primary Treatment, plus 12- weeks of Secondary Treatment & Rehabilitation, with a further 15-weeks of Aftercare.
Independent Living Programme
This will see the successful client living in a new location in their own privately- rented accommodation, with a well- developed family and fellowship support network, leading a totally abstinent, constructive and positive daily lifestyle.
Our AftercarePlus programme has been created to meet the specific needs of Clients, ensuring that they acquire the necessary skills, confidence and resources for their successful reintegration back into mainstream society.
Clients recovering from Drug/Alcohol Dependency problems often perceive the route between Residential rehabilitation and independent community-living to be complex, confusing and intimidating.
Overcoming the Barriers
AftercarePlus helps clients overcome the barriers that are often the key determinants of Social Exclusion, which unless addressed can lead the individual back into drug use; barriers that can include issues around Housing, Debt-management, Benefits, Employment, Training, Education and even accessing other local services.
By addressing such vital issues with the help, support and encouragement of our Aftercare Manager, and by engaging in meaningful social participation, clients avoid becoming hidden and marginalized.
The ultimate Outcome for the successful completion of the AftercarePlus programme, is that the Client exits treatment and rehabilitation and resumes their proper place in society as a responsible citizen, ready to pursue voluntary work, further education and training, as well as career opportunities.
